The Web Listening Platform (WLIP) is an easy-to-use tool that will let you know everything about how your brand or product is perceived in the environment of the Internet and social networks and how you are doing compared to your competitors. Thanks to WLIP you will have full control over what’s happening anywhere on the web that’s related to you.
We have been using WLIP in the entire Central and Eastern Europe region for already more than a year. Each week we monitor what people are saying about Nokia and its competitors. WLIP allows us to get valuable know-how and insights, for example for launching a new product on the market. WLIP also helped us to identify the discussion board participants who talk about us the most, and we then work with these opinion leaders further. We also use the tool’s outputs to evaluate the success of our advertising campaigns and PR activities.
We had the opportunity to compare two Internet monitoring tools and we preferred the WLIP solution for several reasons. We monitor online communication for quite a large number of topics, including Ford and competitor models, which is why we do not want to be limited by the number of monitored keywords. We also like the intuitive online dashboards as well as the fact that we can request ad-hoc analyses based on what we are interested in at the moment.

We have been working with it at GE Money Bank for roughly six months and right when it was introduced to us for the first time I was thrilled not only by the comprehensiveness of the processing, but also by the form, which is very easy to understand and read and is also user-friendly. The level of detail offered by WLIP when viewing data provides an excellent overview of what is happening not only on the Internet, but on social networks as well.
